Sacha Williamson VOICE 

Sacha Williamson is a Toronto singer, songwriter and educator whose work spans jazz, soul, R&B and contemporary music. She  has performed across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, and her music has been heard on BBC Radio 1Xtra, CBC  Radio and JAZZ.FM91. Her collaborators include Sol Brown, Opolopo, Roy Ananda and Wipe the Needle. Representative  recordings include Sumthin' Good, So Clear, Transformation and On Time. A York University alumna, she teaches jazz and  popular voice at York and Centennial College. 

Kevin Turcotte TRUMPET AND FLUGELHORN 

Kevin Turcotte is one of Canada's most recorded jazz trumpeters, admired for his lyrical sound and stylistic range. A multiple  National Jazz Award winner, he has toured and recorded with Rob McConnell, Dave Young, Bruce Cockburn, Measha  Brueggergosman and Mike Murley. Selected credits include the JUNO-winning bLOW tHE hOUSE dOWN and Cry Me a River,  David Braid's Born to Be Blue score, and the Cuphead soundtrack. He teaches at York University and the University of Toronto  while remaining active in clubs and concert halls. 

Sundar Viswanathan SAXOPHONES FLUTES BANSURI AND VOICE 

Sundar Viswanathan is a saxophonist, flutist, vocalist, composer and bandleader whose music connects contemporary jazz with  Indian, African and Brazilian traditions. His ensemble Avataar won the 2022 JUNO for Worldview; he is also a member of two time JUNO-nominated Jaffa Road. He has performed at the Blue Note, Birdland, Lincoln Center and North Sea Jazz Festival, with  associations including Joe Lovano, Clark Terry, Charles Tolliver and Sun Ra. Recordings include Hope and Infinity, Petal,  Worldview and There's Beauty Enough in Being Here. Sundar is currently Associate Professor at York University. 

Noam Lemish PIANO 

Noam Lemish is a JUNO-nominated pianist and composer whose work brings modern jazz into dialogue with Middle Eastern  traditions, Himalayan folk sources and chamber music. He has performed and led workshops across Canada, the United States,  Europe, Israel and Bhutan, and collaborates with Amos Hoffman, George Marsh, Sundar Viswanathan, Andrew Downing and Nick  Fraser. His recordings include the JUNO-nominated Twelve, There's Beauty Enough in Being Here, Erlebnisse and Pardes. He is  an associate professor at York University, combining performance, composition and scholarship. 

Mike Cado GUITAR 

Mike Cado is a Toronto guitarist, composer, arranger and bandleader working across jazz, blues, R&B and large-ensemble music.  He has appeared at Roy Thomson Hall and major Ontario jazz festivals, collaborating with Don Thompson, Lorne Lofsky, Guido  Basso, Mike LeDonne and Barry Romberg. His Mike Cado Tentet grew from his close work with Canadian jazz composer Phil  Nimmons and produced Nimmons 'n' Nine Now; he also produced and performed on Sherie Marshall's The Sweetest Sounds.  Cado directs several York University ensembles. 

Artie Roth BASS 

Artie Roth is a Toronto bassist, composer and bandleader with multiple National Jazz Award nominations and appearances on  more than fifty recordings. He has toured internationally with his own quartet and ensembles led by Rich Underhill, Bob Brough,  Rez Abbasi and Steve Koven, performing with Kenny Wheeler, Curtis Fuller, Marcus Belgrave and Robi Botos. His credits include the JUNO-winning Tales from the Blue Lounge, Parallels, Discern and Resonants, named among JAZZ.FM91's top twenty albums  of 2023. He teaches at York and Centennial College. 

Barry Romberg DRUMS 

Barry Romberg is a JUNO-winning drummer, composer, producer and bandleader and a major voice in Canadian jazz. He has  performed with Gil Evans, Joe Henderson, Lee Konitz and Kenny Wheeler and appears on more than one hundred recordings. His  ensemble Random Access earned National Jazz Awards recognition, while his independent Romhog label has released roughly  twenty projects. Representative albums include Big Giant Head, Was Shall Why Because, World Creativity and Crab People. A  longtime educator, Romberg joined York after seventeen years at Humber College.
