Vivienne Wilder -(guitar, vox) Jon Hyde - (drums, electronics, bass)
No Reservations Pay What You Can
Vivienne Wilder makes her debut at The Rex with bubblegrunge songs blending rock, pop, folk, and electronic sounds. A classically trained bassist, Wilder spent years performing in orchestras before moving into electric bass and songwriting. Her music draws on a wide range of influences, spanning 20th-century popular music and coming full circle to the IDM-inspired GarageBand bedroom recordings she began making in the early 2010s. Her songs have been featured in Kim’s Convenience and Northern Rescue, and she regularly releases new songs co-produced with Ian Docherty (July Talk).
