Karina is a classically trained pianist and vocalist with diverse international background. She began her musical journey by studying classical piano and voice, building a strong technical foundation that continues to shape her artistry today.

She later specialized in jazz singing at the Glière Institute of Music, where she developed her improvisational skills, stylistic flexibility, and deep connection to jazz traditions.

Following her studies, Karina worked extensively as a singer and musician with international entertainment companies, performing across the globe. Her career took her to Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, Bulgaria, and Armenia, where she gained broad stage experience and adapted to diverse audiences, musical styles, and performance settings.

During this time, she developed both a solo project and an electronic duo, exploring contemporary sounds while blending them with her jazz and classical background.

After moving to Toronto, Canada, Karina founded her own swing dance band, contributing to the city’s vibrant live music and dance scene. She continues to perform actively across Toronto while supporting and enriching the local arts and cultural community.

In addition to performing, Karina is a dedicated music educator. She teaches piano and voice at High Park Music School and works with students of all ages and levels, both in person and online. Her teaching combines classical technique, jazz sensibility, and an individualized approach, helping students build strong skills, musical confidence, and genuine enjoyment of music.
