The Kirk MacDonald/Jon Gordon quartet with Neil Swainson and Bernd Reiter will be performing a number of Canadian dates in July with performances in Toronto ,Montreal, Quebec and Peterbourogh. This group combines two of the leading saxophonists of their generation with one of Canada’s leading bassists and the internationally renowned Austrian drummer Bernd Reiter in a program of original compositions by the co- leaders, along with selections from the great jazz cannon and the American songbook traditions.
