The Emmett Hodgins Trio is a modern jazz trio based in Toronto and Victoria. Inspired by pushing the boundaries of modern jazz trio and using influences from the BC Coast, Emmett uses his multifaceted musical upbringing on Vancouver Island in his writing for the group. Having met in college, Emmett Hodgins, Chris Parnis and Aaron Blewett have been developing the unique sound that they now represent as they have evolved as musicians. The Emmett Hodgins Trio now regularly performs as part of the Victoria and Toronto jazz scenes.
