It’s that time again… Jazz Christmas!
Our annual tradition of gathering, grooving, and giving thanks to Toronto’s incredible jazz community continues with the 33rd Annual Player’s Party — our night to host and toast all the musicians who’ve filled our stage (and hearts) this past year.

This is our chance to say thank you to the players who keep The Rex swinging night after night — and to celebrate the friendships, collaborations, and musical moments that make this place home.

When: Tuesday, December 16th, 8:00 PM (come anytime — we know some of you will be finishing gigs!)
Where: The Rex Hotel Jazz & Blues Bar
What: Food, drinks, friends, laughter, and plenty of music
Who: All jazz musicians who’ve played here this past year — and all who keep the Toronto jazz scene alive and thriving

PLUS: The Rex Jazz Jam — Your Jam Tonight!
Hosted by Chris Banks, the evening’s jazz jam is open to everyone.
Bring your horn, sticks, or strings and join your fellow players on stage — or just sit back and enjoy the music from the floor. This one’s for you!

No RSVPs or fancy invites — just come as you are.
It’s your night to relax, reconnect, and raise a glass with the community that makes The Rex what it is.
