Born in Montreal and now based in Toronto, Canada,  electric bassist / composer / educator and producer  Marc Decho has established himself as an incredibly  versatile and creative artist on the Canadian music  scene. Decho is a longstanding member of the  legendary Cuban pianist Miguel De Armas (NG La  Banda) Latin Jazz Quartet & Latin Jazz Orchestra and  has performed with a wide variety of GRAMMY, Latin  GRAMMY, JUNO winning artists. In 2023 Marc  released his first self produced record as leader  “AAAAUM” under the guise of the Marc Decho Quartet  to critical acclaim. His latest record entitled “Forget The  World” was released in 2024-2025 and caused a  massive buzz in the UK jazz and broken beat scenes,  as well as garnered steady radio play across Europe  and Japan. The record was released on legendary jazz  dance and Northern Soul DJ Colin Curtis’ iconic imprint  label.
