We The North! The Jazz Mechanics showcase their unique Canadian big band sound.

The Jazz Mechanics is an 18 piece big band well known for featuring some of the best in traditional and contemporary big band jazz with a Canadian focus. Founded in 1979 as an offshoot of the Brampton Concert Band, the band has maintained a steady and respected reputation around the GTA, having performed with featured guest artists such as Pat Labarbera, Allen Vizzutti, Guido Basso, Mike Murley and Canadian Jazz icon Phil Nimmons.

Under the direction of Toronto composer/educator/trombonist Andrew Jones, and featuring many outstanding soloists, the band stays committed to performing exciting big band jazz music composed and arranged by Canadians.
