Bogdan Gumenyuk is a Ukrainian-Canadian jazz saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and educator based in Montreal, and the founder of the Ukrainian independent record label LabelWhoAble.
A Fulbright Scholar and winner of several international music competitions, he has performed and taught across Europe and North America, collaborating with renowned jazz musicians such as Curtis Fuller, Benito Gonzalez, Joel Holmes, Pierre Boussaguet, Sam Harris, Ameen Saleem, Xavier Davis, and Kevin Mahogany, as well as Ukrainian artists Jamala, Okean Elzy, and Mad Heads.

His latest album, Stream of Hope (2026), brings together contemporary jazz, traditional Ukrainian wind instruments—including the trembita, tylynka, sopilka, and cow horn— electronics, improvisation, and spoken word, exploring the connections between Ukrainian musical heritage and modern jazz.
