Anise Russow is a twenty year-old jazz and soul vocalist recognized for her rich, expressive voice and dynamic stage presence. Originally from Victoria BC, she began performing regularly by the age of thirteen years old. She has since led her own groups, drawing from a wide variety of genres such as jazz, R&B, funk, pop, and folk.

Shortly after beginning her Bachelor of Music at Humber College, Anise became a rising artist in the Toronto music scene. Her versatility has led her to notable stages across both Victoria and Toronto, including appearances at the TD Victoria International JazzFest (2019, 2023, 2025) and the Toronto Undergraduate JazzFest (2024). Featuring some of the city’s best young musicians, the Anise Russow Quartet is guaranteed to create a warm and immersive evening of music from the jazz idiom.
